VIVES Kortrijk is easily accessible, both by public transport and by car. VIVES wants to take care of the environment and encourages students, staff and visitors to use public transport as much as possible.

By public transport

VIVES Campus Kortrijk is easily accessible by public transport. Every morning there are six special buses that depart from the main exit of the station and drive directly to the VIVES campus Kortrijk. These buses stop in front of the Expohallen, Kinepolis, Steenbakkerstraat and in the Universiteitslaan. They are marked 'High Kortrijk', 'Xpo' or 'PR shuttle bus'.

Students who take lessons on the campus in Kortrijk can take any bus in Kortrijk and its outskirts for a one-time contribution of 10 € all year round. We work with the MOBIB card: if you already have one in your possession, it is best to bring it with you when you register. Alternatively, you can also request one from us. A MOBIB card costs 5 euros. You can take the bus from the station to the Kortrijk campus and vice versa at any time of the day, but make sure you always have your student card with you for any check-ups. All buses stop right in front of Kortrijk Xpo and make a round around the campus. Each study area has its own bus stop.

Student bicycles

At the Kortrijk campus we like to see you arrive by bike. No bike of your own? At the back of the station you can walk into Mobiel, a bicycle renting shop. Bring your identity card and your student card with you. You pay € 40.00 deposit and € 5.00 rent per month for the entire rental period. You can pay with bancontact. If a bike is available, it will be given to you immediately - after the necessary paperwork - equipped with two strong locks. Every three months you come (mandatory) for a free maintenance visit. Optionally you can take out a bicycle theft insurance and use the guarded parking facility (from € 0.20 per day).

By car

Of course, we would prefer you to come to the campus on foot, by bicycle or by public transport. If you do come by car, we have a total of about 1000 parking spaces at our disposal on the campus. If you don't find a parking space on one of our car parks, you can park free of charge on the official outskirts of the city of Kortrijk, opposite Kinepolis. You can validate your parking ticket at the reception of your study area, so that you can leave the car park free of charge. What's more, we scan your student card every time and after every 10 parking tickets you'll receive a free cinema ticket for Kinepolis. Please note that you may park in the streets around the campus for a maximum of one hour.

Exit 2 Kortrijk Zuid (Xpo) > Xpo (Tournai) > roundabout 3rd exit > turn right at the 1st lights > after 100m VIVES will be on your left
