VIVES Ostend Station is easily accessible, both by public transport and by car. VIVES wants to take care of the environment and encourages students, staff and visitors to use public transport as much as possible.
By public transport
The campus is located at the station of Ostend and is therefore easily accessible by public transport.
- SNCB (Belgian railway company): there are several daily train connections between the interior of the country and Ostend.
- De Lijn (Belgian bus company): all buses, as well as the coastal tram, have a stop at the station.
On the campus in Ostend, you can buy a 10-ride ticket at 10 euros instead of 16 euros, a gift from Stuvo.
Student bicycles
At the Ostend Station campus we like to see you arrive by bike. On the campus there is a spacious covered bicycle storage available. No bike of your own? Students can also use the red and yellow city bikes. By car
Of course, we would prefer you to come to the campus on foot, by bicycle or by public transport. If you do come by car, you can easily park nearby at one of the border parks, within walking distance of the campus.
