Each student has a VIVES e-mail address. Consult your e-mail online via the webmail, but also through an e-mail program.

Practical information

As soon as your account is activated, you have access to the webmail environment by VIVES. You get a VIVES e-mail address in the following form: [email protected]. Every communication is done via that e-mail address. Communications that are for example sent to you from Toledo, will also be sent to the inbox of that e-mail address.

Note: it is also possible to retrieve your e-mail in a mail program on your computer (e.g. Microsoft Outlook) or via the mail app on your tablet or smartphone.

Important to know: your account remains valid as long as you are registered as a student in VIVES. When you deregister or graduate, this account will be deactivated. It is difficult to give an exact date of termination; however, the following guidelines apply:

  • students who deregister themselves: seven days after deregistration your account will be closed;
  • students who do not re-enrol after the end of the academic year (e.g. after graduation or termination of studies): your account remains active until 31 October.
