International week at VIVES Health Care 2020 in Bruges

The professional Bachelor in Health Care, Nursing, Nutrition & Dietetics, Speech Therapy & Audiology  and Occupational Therapy at VIVES is proud to invite you to the international week ‘Diversity in Care’, from Monday 16 to Friday 20 March 2020 in Bruges (Belgium).

You are welcome as a lecturer or student to participate in this event.  As a guest lecturer, you can present a healthcare and diversity topic of your choice to our second year students in Nursing or Midwifery students and Paramedical Professions (Occupational Therapy, Nutrition and Dietetics and Speech Therapy & Audiology).  

For guest lecturers

We would like to welcome you as our guest!  Your presentation should meet these criteria:

  • The topic is linked to diversity in healthcare;
  • The topic is linked to at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s);
  • A lecture/seminar/workshop takes up to 90 minutes: you should present yourself, introduce your topic, explain the relevance of the topic for students healthcare and leave time for Q&A;
  • Please note that you are also welcome to attend other sessions during the international week. 

Furthermore, during the international week we organize visits and meetings for you to meet with foreign and local colleagues.  

The teaching mobility can be financed by ERASMUS+ through your institution’s International Office provided there is an Erasmus+ agreement between your institution and VIVES (B KORTRIJ 01). Guest lecturers will receive a certificate stating that they have taken part in teaching activities amounting to 8 hours. If there is no Erasmus+ agreement at present, but you would like to have one drawn up, please contact [email protected] (nursing & midwifery) or [email protected] (paramedical professions), head of the international office at VIVES- Health Care.
