The campus of teacher training in Bruges and Kortrijk is proud to present you a new module V.I.C.K.I.E. English+. The module focuses on the English language in education or English language teaching.
This module gives you contemporary and innovative keys you can use as a teacher in education. It has been specially designed for both Belgian teacher training students (internationalization at home) and incoming ERASMUS+ students related to education and teacher training from universities and universities of applied sciences we have an inter-institutional agreement with.
The module will provide students with skills, knowledge and experiences in order to increase their international competences, such as language competences, intercultural competences, personal growth, global awareness and international knowledge related to education. Each course includes permanent assessment based on oral and/or written presentation(s).
Participating in the V.I.C.K.I.E. English+ module is possible for 5 months (30 ECTS) in the spring term. The programme starts with a cultural introduction week.
The programma includes a three to four-day field trip to the United Kingdom. Students from outside the EU will need a standard visitor visa for the U.K.
Target student groups for V.I.C.K.I.E. English+ are:
- students in primary teacher training who specialize in English language teaching
- English language teaching students in secondary teacher training
