Work in aviation as an airline pilot, aviation technician or a pilot of unmanned aircraft such as drones: study aviation next to Ostend airport.
In our training centre VLOC (Vlaams Luchtvaartopleidingscentrum) you’re flying high with our simulators, helicopters, engines, wind tunnels and, of course, our very own airplanes. Anything you can dream of, you’ll be able to discover as a future aviation professional.
VLOC is located right next to the international airport of Ostend, and is only a few hundred meters away from the North Sea. For three years, this location will make you feel like you’re on a long holiday every single day.
Our Aviation programme has two majors: Airline Pilot and Aeronautical Engineering. In Aeronautical Engineering, you can specialise in Manned Aviation or Unmanned Aircraft Systems (drones, for example).
Bachelor in Aviation is also available in Dutch Bachelor in Luchtvaart.
Beside the Professional Bachelor courses, Campus VLOC hosts also Postgraduate Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Postgraduaat Aviation Management.
During your programme, you’ll be involved in research projects. This way, you’re always on top of new evolutions.
