VIVES Ostend VLOC is easily accessible, both by public transport and by car. VIVES wants to take care of the environment and encourages students, staff and visitors to use public transport as much as possible.
By public transport
VIVES Ostend VLOC is easily accessible by public transport. Every day there are several train connections between the interior and Ostend that connect to tram connections, each with a stop at the campus. The VLOC Campus can be reached by bus from De Lijn station in Ostend. This is the only campus in the whole of our country where you can park your private plane in front of the door.
At VIVES Ostend VLOC, you can buy a 10-ride ticket at 6 euros instead of 10 euros, a gift from Stuvo.
Student bicycles
At VIVES Ostend VLOC, we like to see you arrive by bike. No bike of your own? In the Ostend bicycle workshop you can rent a bicycle at a very advantageous rate of € 30 per year. This inexpensive and fast solution for all your trips is also environmentally friendly and safe. By car
Of course, we would prefer you to come to the campus on foot, by bicycle or by public transport. If you do come by car, you can easily park nearby.
