Our campus is easily accessible, both by public transport and by car. VIVES wants to take care of the environment and encourages students, staff and visitors to use public transport as much as possible.
By public transport
VIVES Bruges Xaverianenstraat is located at a 20-minute walk from the station. Every 20 minutes there is a bus between the station and the campus. The ride takes 10 minutes. On school days there is a bus every 10 minutes at peak times (7.30-9.30, 12-13.30 and 16.30-18.30 hrs.). Stops include the front of the station and the roundabout at the Koningin Astridlaan/Expresweg, i.e. close to the campus (= VIVES stop). Via the entrance on the roundabout you can walk up the campus. Please note: bus 25 (this is the normal line 25 that runs every 20 minutes) will normally stop at platform 1 of the bus station. The additional bus in the direction of VIVES stops at platform 10.
On the campus in Bruges, you can buy a 10-ride ticket at € 10.00 instead of € 14.00, a gift from Stuvo.
Of course you can also come to the campus on foot. The station-campus route takes about twenty minutes. Walk from the back of the station to the Spoorwegstraat. At the junction with King Albert I-laan, walk to the roundabout in Queen Astridlaan. The campus is 500 metres away.

Student bicycles
At VIVES Bruges Xaverianenstraat campus there are spacious, covered and safe parking spaces for 790 bicycles. No bike of your own? With a (cosy) student bike you can cycle cheaply and quickly from the station to the campus. The student bike can be rented for € 6.00 per month (minimum three months) and can be cancelled monthly. In addition, two free maintenance operations are included, as well as a Restricted Lock. A deposit of € 40.00 is the only requirement when you strike a contract.
By car
Of course, we would prefer you to come to the campus on foot, by bicycle or by public transport. If you come by car, there is a free parking space for 450 cars, with a private exit at the Expresweg.
